Result Announcement for the Semi-Finals of Higher Education Track of the 7th GCD4FE

On June 23, co-hosted by Beijing Normal University and the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education, with the support of domestic and international organizations, universities, and renowned tech enterprises, the Semi-Finals of the Higher Education Track for the 7th Global Competition on Design for Future Education were successfully held.
A total of 62 teams from over 40 universities, including Peking University, Beijing Normal University, China Academy of Art, Hong Kong Baptist University, Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea, and the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and other worldwide universities, participated in the Semi-Finals through online presentations. The projects focused on various fields such as education, health, cultural heritage, and technological innovation, emphasizing the deep integration of education and technology while also aiming to enhance the learning experience and outcomes for different groups with varied needs. Ten expert judges from various universities and enterprises evaluated the projects based on dimensions such as problem awareness, innovation spirit, science and education integration, application prospect, and presentation and expression. Ultimately, 24 projects were selected to advance to the Finals (excluding results from the Regional Selection Contest).
The Finals for the Higher Education Track will be held at the Changping Campus of Beijing Normal University from July 25 to 28 (UTC+8). During the Finals, teams will be tasked with designing an innovative educational project within 48 hours based on a new topic. Mentors will be available throughout the competition to offer guidance and support. Please be prepared.
