On July 9, two Co-Dean and team went to India to attend The 18th IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies (ICALT 2018), Dean Ronghuai Huang served as the chairman of this conference, Dean Dejian Liu was invited to deliver a keynote speech.
ICALT is an annual international conference focused on high-tech learning technology organized by the IEEE computer society and the IEEE learning technology committee, this is the world recognized and one of the highest academic quality conferences in educational technology field. The conference was held at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), collected many elites from current and future educational technology field, sharing the thinking and exploration of science and technology about global transformative learning. Dean Dejian Liu provided keynote speech titled "Interaction and Engagement in Education Through Technology Innovations," he stressed that the world's top learning Technologies (including artificial intelligence, big data, virtual reality, augmented reality and speech evaluation, etc.) used in preparation before class, collaboration in lass, class assignments, and other scenes, provide students with the most attractive and most effective learning experience.
After the conference, two Co-Dean and team discussed cooperation in the field of educational information with president of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), well-known Indian professors, well-known Indian scientists, and Indian education companies.
