Recently, the Lecture Notes in Educational Technology (LNET) series, edited by Ronghuai Huang, was formally reviewed by the Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB), which was officially included in the Scopus database.
       Scopus database is famous for its strict selection standards and procedures, which are measured by CSAB composed by global 20 experts with the independent and comprehensive quantitative and qualitative ways. The LNET series is included in the Scopus database, which shows that the series of books published by Springer will be retrieved in Scopus in the future and is a high degree of recognition of the quality of the series of books by the international authoritative academic institutions. It will further play a positive role in enhancing the international impact of the LNET series.

         The Scopus database was launched in November 2004 by Elsevier Publishing, the world's largest academic journal publisher, covering four major categories and 27 disciplines, and is the world's largest digest and citation database. The 27 disciplines are grouped into four broad categories: life sciences (3400), social sciences (2850), natural sciences (5500) and medicine (5300). Compared to other single abstract index database, the content of Scopus database is more comprehensive and the discipline of it is more extensive. In recent years, the Scopus database already has highly-competitive and high-quality literature data like the Thomson Reuters Web of Science, which has been widely used in many university assessments, "high cited" thesis rankings and scholarly academic output at home and abroad.
