Cui Guangzuo is a doctoral supervisor. His research areas include automatic extraction of curriculum knowledge, calculation cognition and learning model problem solving. He hosted and participated in several research topics including the National Natural Science Foundation for Young, National "10th Five-Year" Plan, 863 Plan, 863 Key and National Social Science Fund. He published over 70 papers including The Teaching Theory and Practice of Thinking Ability and so on. His current main research area is in the fields of thinking and education. The research directions are the teaching of thinking, mathematics education and cultivation of innovative ability. He has a number of achievements in cultivating thinking and innovative ability which has produced good results in teaching and social training practice in primary and secondary school and it has also become popular in the country.
