Rob Koper was the dean of the Science and Technology Center (celstec.org). His research topic is humans’ learning in social and cognitive levels, hoping to support the perfection of human learning and education institutions through effective use of information and communication technologies in order to better promote social and cognitive aspects of teaching and learning. IMS LD specification that he built has been used in international e-learning standard and has considerable influence and contributions. He wrote more than four hundred papers in journals and books and has developed a number of different systems of information and communication technology to support learning and teaching process.
