On the morning of November 23, 2020, the "World Internet Conference · Internet Development Forum" with the theme of "Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace” opened in Zhejiang Wuzhen International Internet Convention and Exhibition Center. The forum focuses on new hotspots and trends in global cyberspace development and sets up discussion forums on topics such as “Digital Economy and Science-based Prevention and Control Measures in Response to COVID-19” and “Science, Technology and Innovation for Development” that speak to the global concerns and lead the trend of digital technology innovation.
Zhuang Rongwen, Director of the National Internet Information Office and Chairman of the World Internet Conference Organizing Committee delivered a speech. Dean Huang Ronghuai attended the conference and forum, and during the interview session, he expressed his views and participated in the discussion on the "Paths and Challenges of Artificial Intelligence Governance". Dean Huang pointed out that during the pandemic, artificial intelligence big data played a very important role in online education. When it comes to governance issues, there are some international consensuses. For example, the European Union believes that artificial intelligence should be credible and reliable and smart technology products should be legal, ethical, reliable and durable. Technology empowers education while education gives values to technology. Education and technology will shape the future together. The healthy and sustainable development of smart technology in the education field needs to be governed from the following aspects:
1 Improve the information literacy of teachers and students in a standardized and orderly manner;
2 Establish a campus access system for smart technology products;
3 Strengthen the educational social experiment of artificial intelligence and big data;
4 Standardize educational application scenarios of smart technology;
