Ms. Zhu said that there were many limitations of foreign language teaching in China, such as a large student population, a wide area, inadequate learning resources, insufficient opportunities for practice, and a severe lack of language teachers' capabilities. Micro Language provides a foreign language teaching model with two-teacher interaction based on modern IT, which actually implements the progress of modern IT into foreign language learning. It has changed the form of activities in foreign language classes, becoming teaching assistant to Chinese foreign language teachers, and improved students' learning enthusiasm and learning effect, promoting the reform of foreign language education.
Ms. Chunna Zhu
Breck Dewitt, Dell Technologies' Chief Technical Officer of Higher Education, delivered a report on “Technologies in China and the U.S. is Changing Education”. According to Mr. Breck, digital trends are reshaping our lives and education. By 2030, 85% of the jobs will remain unknown, and 35% of technologies that are important today will change in the future. Will people be ready when the future comes? Dell surveyed 12,000 students in high schools and college from around the world and found that those born in the mid-1990s and beyond were enthusiastic about technology. But these digital natives are uncertain about the overall preparation of workforce. The research shows that due to various digital skills and attitudes towards emerging technologies, experienced professionals fear that most future leadership positions will be filled by digital natives. With rich IT education resources, Dell has worked with universities to prepare for future leadership in virtualization, cloud computing and data analysis.
